BEFORE / ON THE DAY

Preparation and your lesson day

Preparing on the day

  1. Rental

If renting equipment, normally arrive at the rental shop about 1 hour before the lesson and prepare independently.

  2. Equipment and lift tickets

Have your ski or snowboard clothing, boots, equipment and lift ticket ready so the lesson can start promptly.

  3. Meet your instructor

Please be at the designated meeting point by your booked start time.

If you ask the instructor to help with rental procedures or fitting equipment, that time counts as lesson time. First-time guests should wear warm base layers and bring long socks reaching below the knee.

NOTES / CANCELLATION

Important notes and cancellation

Groups and ability levels

Groups consist of 1–6 people doing the same discipline. Mixed-ability lessons follow the level of the least experienced participant.

Family lessons

Mixed child-and-adult groups are generally not accepted because teaching and safety needs differ. An exception is a child-focused family lesson with adults accompanying; the lesson is tailored to the children.

Family lesson conditions

As an exception, members of the same family may join the same itinerary if they agree that teaching the children is the primary purpose and adults attend as companions and helpers. Content, pace, breaks and safety decisions are based on the children. Adults are not taught in parallel.

The instructor prioritises children's safety. For young children, such as ages 3–4, collisions with larger adults can cause serious injury; adequate spacing, speed and stopping ability must be considered. This is a safety example, not a guarantee of a minimum lesson age. If safety cannot be maintained, adults may be asked to stop skiing with the group or participate separately.

Late arrivals and weather

If the start is delayed by late arrival or incomplete preparation, the finish time is normally not extended. Content and pace may change with weather, snow, crowds, lift operations and safety conditions. Please follow the instructor's safety directions.

Booking confirmation

Requesting an instructor does not reserve that instructor or confirm a booking. Confirmation follows assignment, agreement to conditions and verified payment. This site does not currently submit booking information.
