Namara Hokkaido Ski & Snowboard Academy
The first SAJ recognized ski classroom established by Chinese and Japanese in Hokkaido. Takuhiro Suzuki and Jianyun Yu founded in 2015, we can send ski and snowboard instructors to any ski resort in Hokkaido for teaching or mountaineering guidance. Coaches are basicallyis born the locals living in Hokkaido have been exposed to skiing since childhood and are quite familiar with the local snow mountains in Hokkaido. Some coaches are still in various worlds.Snow freestyle (Mogul) World Cup, FWT freeride world tour, snowboard national demonstration team members, Let's go Snowboaring production team, etc.The coaches will speak simple English to communicate with the students. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced skier, you can find a ski guide that suits you here!

※ The above price is for one instructor/guide. The maximum number of students is 5 people per group. The price includes the instructor’s cable car fee/transportation fee/accommodation fee.
※ If you need a designated coach, the fee is +5,000 yen for half a day and +10,000 yen for a full day.
※ The price does not include students’ ski equipment rental fees/cable car fees/transportation fees/accommodation fees.
※ The half-day 2.5 hours is AM 10:00-12:30 or PM 13:00-15:30, and the full-day 6 hours is 9:00-15:00 or 10:00-16:00 (1 hour lunch break).
The course time starts from the meeting between the coach and the students, including helping students rent and wear ski equipment.
※ Students in the same group must have the same ski equipment and be of the same ski level. Different levels cannot be taught at the same time.
※ Backcountry ski guides and mountaineering ski guides can mix skies and snowboard in the same group. The fee does not include the rental of guests’ mountaineering and skiing equipment. Please consult separately if necessary.

※ The above price is for one guide and includes the guide’s transportation/accommodation fees.
※ In principle, mountaineering and skiing do not use cable cars. You need to hike up the mountain. If you need to take a cable car, the cable car fee will be charged separately.
※ This project is only for advanced skiers. skies/snowboard can participate at the same time. Participants are asked to bring their own mountaineering tools (snowshoes or sealskins)
and a four-piece avalanche set (snow shovel/probe/searcher/backpack).
※ The gathering time is 10:00am, and the pick-up and drop-off at the guest's check-in location may be subject to availability.

Personal training process
【10:00】 Meet at the ski resort (Participants must be wearing ski/snowboard wear and boots, with ski/snowboard equipment and lift tickets in advance.)
※Recommendations to beginners: Wear thermal underwears and knee high socks inside. If you need to rent ski/snowboard equipment or wears,please go to the rental shop one hour before the lesson starts for preparation. Please prepare lift tickets before the lesson or during the lesson according to instructor's advice by yourselves. If you want instructors to help you with the rental, the time will be included as lesson time.
【10: 00-12: 30】 Ski/snowboard lessons (2.5 hours)
【12: 30-13: 30】 Break, lunch (Have lunch in the ski resort restaurant by yourselves)
【13: 30-16: 00】 Ski/snowboard lessons (2.5 hours)
【16:00】Instructor's summary, lesson finishes.
Booking notice
① Ski/snowboard lesson is taught at the same level as in a group, otherwise teaching will be adjusted to the lowest level.
② Please separate adults and children into 2 groups.
Children: 4-11 years old(Teaching Ski from 4 years old and snowboard from 6 years old.)
Adults: over 12 years old
1 instructor can teach the same group with similar ski/snowboard level:
4-5 years old (ski): 1 instructor can teach up to 1 child
6-7 years old (ski/snowboard): 1 instructor can teach up to 2 children
8-9 years old (ski/snowboard): 1 instructor can teach up to 3 children
10-11 years old (ski/snowboard): 1 instructor can teach up to 4 children
12 years old or above (ski/snowboard): 1 instructor can teach up to 5 persons
③ For family private lesson with adults and children together in the same group,teaching will give priority to children.
Level（For both ski and snowboard）：
Level 1: Beginner；first time
Level 2: Ski：Snowplough glide,can turn and stop；
Snowboard：Have snowboard experiences,but can't keep unbroken turn；
Level 3: Can control speed and keep unbroken turn on green runs；
Level 4: Can keep unbroken turn smoothly on red runs；
Level 5: Can ski／snowboard all over the mountain.
